Work from home has become quite the norm for several big and little companies. the thought of getting a ‘normal’ office life with workers at full capacity may be a thing of the past and one remains unsure when workplaces will get anywhere on the brink of that. a minimum of Amazon has made it clear that it doesn’t see it happening till 2021.

According to a report by CNBC, Amazon has confirmed that it won’t be calling back employees till January 8. “We still prioritise the health of our employees and follow government guidance,” an Amazon spokesperson told CNBC. “Employees who add a task which will effectively be done from home are welcome to try to to so until January 8.”
It’s not clear what percentage employees will get suffering from this. However, as per CNBC, this is often a part of the worldwide guidance policy, so it means for Amazon employees everywhere the planet .
Amazon had announced
Earlier in May, Amazon had announced that the work from home policy would be effective until October 2. Amazon has over 8.4 lakh employees everywhere the planet , the corporate had said at the top of the half-moon .
Amazon isn’t the sole company to possess extended the work from home policy. albeit Apple hasn’t officially confirmed or denied, a Bloomberg report suggested that the corporate doesn’t expect offices to be reopened before the top of the year. Though it’s going to reopen some offices in Europe and Asia, in the US, the Cupertino-based tech giant isn’t expecting employees to return back before the year ends.
Google, Facebook said
Even Google has said that it’ll take things slowly and remains unsure of when employees are going to be back. Facebook has also said that it doesn’t expect 60% of its employees to return back to the office any time soon.
